How about the tags knowing which one is a weapon or not? pretty sure it's easy if you hit someone your tag is red because you hit that player. no real way for it to track if you hit that player with a weapon or not. if you understand what i'm trying to say.

just in case you guys still couldn't understand what i was getting at. like i keep saying, someone attacks victim. victim pulls knock-back stick for self defense to get away, attacker also pulls out knock-back stick before cops show up. well, it would be logical that the victim would continue...

Well technically they're still lethal. knock someone off a great distance and they fall to their death

I know the chances of hiding the fact of you attacking is hard, but i'm saying in a situation where the weapon doesn't have fire aspect, and the one being assaulted isn't bleeding. and both are holding non lethal weapons at the time the cop finally sees the situation.

Too lazy to read all the posts in this thread about the topic. but if you were to make them craft-able. it would be increasingly hard. how about still make it so Tier 1 scrolls can't be crafted together to increase it's level. and only Tier 2-3 ones can. and to make it even more extreme instead...

I have mixed opinions on this. though it would be great to have that implemented. it sort of wouldn't be fair as well. how much of a increase will diamonds and emeralds spawn? a possible alternative for this would be if you mine an ore in the mine. only you can pick up the ores it drops...

Love all the suggestions. but one flaw in the self defense part. what if the original attacker pretended and switched to a non lethal weapon as well? and there is no evidence that the victim has taken to prove that they are innocent. are the cops going to arrest someone? or let it slide?
