island owners do disagree because we are biased, but to be fair anyone with over 5mil will support this to obtain an island. I'm not going to argue, but this probably won't be added because there is no scenario where this ends well for the economy

I think a lot players are missing the fact that, players will buy these 'private islands' and ignore Normal ones. Everyone is making a big deal about the regioning part, but lets be real, there aren't many islands with space to region at all. What I said was kind of rhetorical, and this truly...

To THIS issue there actually is a kinda simple fix, which may even fix the plot issue. We'll see, I may make a suggestion about it

Read my other new post, I just edited it. By private island, do you mean a place where others can't get to, and only you can enjoy the benefits of your build BTw ?

Let's take a moment to consider, something which we all forgot. Kiri and Coban are not regioning new plots. If you have an island, fine you can make more plots, but they aren't adding more space Ps - Private islands are more valuable than city islands because of their building to land ratio...

Jbrod and Swat are too large though, a small island will have to suffice for now

summed it up pretty well ! Maybe it would be beneficial if an OLDER island like austrum was resold (It might need to be cut down a bit in size tho) ?
