How to make the elevator things.

Just wondering how you make the elevators that you click space to go up and shift to go down.

Take iron blocks and place them on the floor, then add iron pressure plates on top. Do this for both floors (ex: you want the elevator to be from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, than you would place this set up on the 1st floor and the 2nd floor).
