Expensive solar generator not working

What you were doing before this occurred: Trying to get more power :C(,) I placed down the energized solar generator and it simply wouldn't produce any power.
What you've lost (Only if you lost something) or what happened: I placed my energized solar generator down and it refused to make power despite being clearly exposed to sunlight even though it should be making power even if it's night time.

@nibble Even though it's been replaced twice now it's completely unresponsive to connected regulators in the area, even if they themselves are moved/replaced.
No idea what's going on here.

But just to confirm, it WAS working yesterday for a brief hour or two.

Some times the generators get weird about sensing blocks above them, my theory being due to a plot transferred plot.
If you can, try putting the generators higher up or in a different spot? It worked for me when I had a similar problem.

Thank you for the idea, Neil. But it seems the problem was the generator had broken :I it's fixed now
