  I'm going to try out for the flute solo this year... there's a first time for everything! I've been shy for a huge chunk of my life, and marching band has helped me come out of my shell so much. So this is it. This is the year I finally prove to myself that I CAN do this. I just gotta believe in myself and put myself out there.

  Last night's performance went really well for us personally. However, we did not make it to State Championships this year, yes the band is sad, but we're just happy to know that the audience enjoyed the performance. We've had a really tough season, but that doesn't mean we should give up. I'm just sad that the season has basically ended for us...

  That feeling when two weeks in a row your freaking invitational is cancelled due to big boi sky doing a pee pee on the field... 2 of my freaking Tuesday nights smh... (Reasons it's a big deal: 1 I could've gone to math tutoring. 2. It my hw day. 3. World History AP and thicc book I have to read, 20 pages for this chapter.   SO: yeah it my bday, (Thx Trump! ^-^) but more importantly, my band got 2nd place at NAU! (Out of 3 Div. 1 bands but still) we also received the visual effects caption award, so that was really cool. I had a genuinely great time performing under the dome, and I can't wait for the next NAU band day!
