Another sort of arch world for island owners/islands

I was thinking if us island owners could somehow get access to a world similar to arch world because most of us need our islands redone. I know you may think its temporary, but having they layout of the island while building new structures on it make it a lot easier. What I mean by this is that it requires a lot of payment to get an island to be done and most islands require world edit for some parts which may take months for regular players just to finish off. I was thinking if we could have access to something like that where we could constantly organize our ideas and be able to fix islands without necessarily approaching an arch. An arch’s job is kind of to build for players but in theyre busy schedule its almost impossible to fit in a whole island in their schedule as well as giving them a monopoly on the island rebuilding market.

Idk if you could set the world to give everyone who goes in there have world edit or only allow players who are added or trusted to have world edit. So viewers cant mess with it

In that world some ideas.
Island Owners would be given a 2000x2000 plot.
They would have access to world edit there.
They may be able to add players there who will also be able to build using world edit.
The only transfers coming from that world must be related to their island.
If needed add borders to plots so players can’t see past or see other island owners islands.
If the island is co owned, they would decide who would own the island plot in that world (the one for building).
Any abuse (purposesly causing extreme lag) of world edit can cause them to be banned, I think at this point I doubt they would abuse world edit, they wouldn’t want to put their wealth of owning an island in jeopardy.
This would give players who want to build islands or island structures for players the opportunity. As there would be space to organize and collaborate working on the same area.
This would still allow archs to be able to build islands of course but it gives us island owners a chance to be able to ask other players who are not archs as well.
To name a few of some players who are really good builders but aren’t archs or are former archs.

And I dont really want comments on how were getting world edit unfairly as I said the only transfers coming from there is island related. And its to be able to organize thoughts properly as creative plots are too small anyways and not all island owners are archs.

I've had this idea before, but in rough form. This is well detailed and very useful. I mean I've spent millions on simple things on my islands and having arch overprice their work just because they know island owners have no choice but to hire them. I also know an amazing builder by the name of Big_C who is amazing, but cant really do much things like terraforming without w/e. I love your idea and strongly support it. I see no downside to this suggestion.

Edit: I even had to pay money to use an arch plot because not only is there no arch willing to give up most of their building land for an island. But most of them dont have enough space for a 500x500 island.

Tho this should also cost more money, like transfer discount if builds are done by an arch for the island. This way archs ar still needed. Also a max players added like 5. Otherwise it could turn into a creative for players but with w/e.

Its not the need for archs, theyre like super busy, in that sense if thins were cheaper if we get an arch, then we would be drawed back to hiring them for something which was suppose to enable regular players to work on it.

Besides theyre usally busy with builds for players a project this big will only slow thme down and us down

No not really all islands need to be, basically a plot is alotted there already its up to them if they want to use it, this mostly applies if a whole island is being redone from scratch or huge chunks. But other thing like structures for your island etc can also be done there

I believe the idea is mostly meant to islands that are private or have a lot of space for building. For Example, for bunny island you can redesign the mini-islands next to the main island on the plot and have it transferred there. That's just one example tho, could also be made for structures or big builds as well. Terraforming empty land etc etc.

This btw is a bump on this idea, I am not letting this idea fade into forgetness like all the other good suggestions.

Can you.... Hire more archs? More supply = Less Demand = Less worth = Cheaper archs (Except the really good ones :O)

There's 12 architects right now, which is quite a few for the player base.

Even a limited version of world edit wouldn't make sense? If something like this were to considered, I feel it should be because it gives the owner more control over what is being created. Also, there are 12 architects, but there aren't 12 architects that properly know how to use world edit. Once I asked a group of archs to help me with something copy/paste related, and at least 2 said they weren't confident in their abilities to do that/use the command (This is not to say that the majority of the team isnt qualified). Maybe a solution to this would be to teach architects at least basic world edit or make it a requirement, so that way their skills can cater to a larger group (particularly island owners in this situation).

Also 2k x 2k is giant, and even for a plot to fit (2 islands of ) captain on it, I had to merge a crap ton of plots, and it took up a ton of space. I feel like 500x500 or 600x600 is more reasonable.

I guess archs still have their monopoly on island owners anyway :/
