Do pets spawn in the wild?

I have spent 3 hours in a jungle and found no parrots. my friend found 2 but both got blown up by creepers. I also spent time in a spruce biome and found no wolves. Do pets spawn in the wild?

Pets do spawn in the wild but most mobs but if you have the experienced the wild more you will know that mobs dont spawn very often

Parrots only spawn in newly generated terrain and in very low numbers. Also wolfs don't teleport with you back to cities so they are sadly useless to find in wild.

Many people suggested a higher spawn rate but no reply's...

ya i walked around for two hours trying to find one cow yesterday. its really not fair when you cant breed animals in the real world and have to pay 10k for a 33% chance at getting the animal you need. likely 60k at least to get two, and you still have to pray no one ever finds them in the wild...
