I'd like to propose a patent office in which players can apply for a patent on something of their devising. This can be either a particular styling element, a building etc, etc. The patent will then be inspected by a member of staff who will decide whether it is worth patenting, decide on its originality and its use. Once a patent is accepted, Only the patent holder can build with their patent. Anyone infringing on this is liable to being sued and have their building demolished
