I had unlocked the gps machines and energy machines but once i changed my name they went away and i cant access them (i have all machines). I think multiple things happen if you change your name and im worried if i have to spend my xp on the energy capacitors again

That’s because a new basic machine was added, it’s the auto ignition for a smeltry, so u don’t use up fuel, and it takes 12 exp to unlock

there was a voting count thing aswell (mine got erased) but i dont rlly care about my vote count (it just means i get the same rewards again! >:} )
