Update Log - 12/5/2019

  • Drug Changes
    • New Drug: Berserker Mushroom (Grants effects similar to rabies)
    • New Drug: Angel Dust (Grants Haste + Night Vision 1)
New drugs have their very own recipes that have to be discovered. Hint: More basic drugs are used to craft these.
  • World Shrink
As some of you may have noticed, world borders have been added onto the city worlds and /warp wild. This is to reduce lag from chunk generation. World borders will soon be established in nether and end worlds, so salvage any current wild bases while you can.
  • Gun Changes
    • Rifle: Fire rate slightly increased, damage per shot slightly increased
    • Shotgun: Additional pellet, bullet spread slightly lowered
    • Sniper: Headshot multiplier increased
    • New Gun: Carbine (Swat Only)
    • New Explosive: Freeze Grenade (Snares everyone after a timed delay, Swat Exclusive)

Don’t you think increasing the server ram or switching from a hard drive to ssd would be better than a world border?

Which one is easier though ;)
Also loading chunks is just laggy no matter what. So preventing people from loading too many new ones decreases lagg and helps us all.

Just btw the way chunks works, is once a player walks into a chunk it loads it into the ram so if Mccities can save the chunks (with the /save-all command) at a faster interval then they would be offloaded from the ram
