What you were doing before this occurred: I bought a dog and got a lead for it.

I put it on a lead and started walking and something and the items got glitched and disappeared.

Perhaps you went a bit too fast with your pet, minecraft tends to do this when you are not in a certain radius with whatever you are leading. After all, you do not need a lead for a dog because it will follow you if you have tamed it.

Yes but it doesn't really follow me so i use a lead. I had a very stubborn dog XD. Doesn't solve the problem no offence.
