Welcome to the introduction post for our new charity, Potatoes For Tourists!
What is PFT?:
Potatoes for Tourists is a new charity created by fiireflies (me) and dwarflyncher! Our charity collects potatoes and items from people so we can donate them to new players. We sell the potatoes and donate to new players evenly and fairly. We have set up a building where people can donate, and we have goals to reach before we donate to new players!
Why should I donate?:
Just one potato or item can help a new player get settled in and gather some money! We feel that if new players receive such kind items upon arrival, it may encourage them to stay longer as some tourists leave within a few minutes. You'd be helping a person in need.
How can I trust you to donate to new players?:
I have done this successfully on a server before. We managed to have a huge drop party where many new players got tons of cool items and money!! Lots of people enjoyed it and we had a great time helping people! If you still don't trust me, you can see what happens when we reach our goal!
How do I donate?:
We have a building where you can come drop off potatoes and items into the hoppers. The plot name is h28 and coords are 1392, 75, 622 in Cayman. You can also message or mail us in game if you're struggling to find the building but would like to donate!
What do I donate?: Potatoes or unused items are what we aim for. We only accept these items so people dont have to spend money. People can get potatoes from the farm. Your items can be new, but we recommend unused items so you don't loose a lot of money. Of course, if you want to donate money we would be extremely great-full. Things like weapons and tools would be very helpful too.
We would not give money so they rank up, as this is against the rules. Also they wouldn't have enough playtime to rank up. We promise to fairly give out the money we have raised, including the items. Of course, if staff had a problem or concern we would sort it out and listen to them.
