So as quite a lot of you know, my real name is Laurel, however when i was little, mostly in elementary i got bullied because its not exactly common... i remember the summer when i decided that i wanted people to call me Lauren, because Lauren is far more common and at the time all i ever wanted was to fit in
now that i look back on this, it seems kinda like a dumb decision, changing my name so that i would fit in... i 100% dont recommend to do this. But whats done is done, and i cant exactly go back in time and reverse that choice. When i came to McCities, i was still somewhat dealing with the issue, so thats why i had my forums account name as Lauren, and i always introduce myself to people as Lauren. However when i actually played more and more on the sever, i realized that my name is just fine the way it is, and everyone still loved me the same no matter if they knew me as Laurel or Lauren. ^-^ this has certainly been a journey... and i feel like at some point i do want people to know me as Laurel, and i dont want to just fit in, and i dont mind standing out ^-^ im just not sure when or where to start...i think it will take time to change... and i just wanted to ask you guys what you think, im also trying my best to not confuse people xD

I just want to say, if you ever are going through the same thing as me, defiantly dont do the same thing i did, your name should be something you should be proud of, not something you want to change.
