This happened to me once. One thing that I do, for many reasons, is I only build on my own creative plots so that I can and will remove them at anytime. I just have a creative plot that I clear over and over again so that I can with hold a house till paid the correct amount.

Yeah and just like a mental thing: it would also make me feel like I'm not spending as much money lol. Though, it was also be tremendously helpful!

I used to use Skype but really don't like it.

My trackpad is linked to the control. I have looked in Minecraft and laptop settings, and I have found nothing wrong. I gave up on it a long time ago so it doesn't matter.

I've had other people say they can't do it either. It may also be something to do with my trackpad being messed up or something like that.
