Nope, there's a ton of room to the boundary. 50 blocks on each side, 100? Haven't counted but you can look if you want. I'm just not the best with terraforming.

Yeah, it was a slab of grass but it was layered, it looked bad but it had some depth.

Some islands started off as a slab of grass, like runnerboro, bob, and foxmere (correct me if I'm wrong).

I think there should be a terrain rule for islands. There should be some trees, shorelines, a hill or two, a lake, and other things to make it look more than just a slab of grass. For example, on bunny, there's a hill overlooking a harbor. That's pretty realistic/natural. I like the island warp...
