No, islands themselves aren't being regioned. Plots on already-existing islands are, however.

There's an area shop plugin, plots are regioned on private islands and used to be regioned in the city. Jr Admins+ can region land. There's not a specific way to find an island plot, just do /as info forsale and /find. You can buy a plot with /as buy (region). Many island regions will begin with...

Let's be honest, people won't be paying to rename a70, h405, etc., it'll be mansions like bunnymansion2 (there's no bunnymansion1, so 2 doesn't make any sense anyways) and h310. Or islands, like captain or Tucker77Island or something like that. It wouldn't really mess up the plot name system.

If you've wandered the city, plot naming is already messed up. sky2 is next to sky7, for example. It's up to the player if they want to pay money to rename their plot or not, why restrict it for all just because some may not want it?

I see why this won't be added, but it may be helpful to add something that rich players can buy. Once you reach a certain level of wealth, there's nothing really to do on the server. There was talk a while ago to add special items or perks for rich players to buy, maybe those items and perks...

It doesn't really matter how much these private islands would be worth.. set selling price.. no profit..

It'd be quite hard to region the boats, they're a strange shape and people would be able to break them if it's not done tediously. But feel free to /mail or start a conversation with me on the forums, make an offer or two on the boat you may want to buy.

I think you'd have to own the entire island to get it transferred.

This isn't an answer as staff, just as a player. Wouldn't it be possible to break other people's houses on the island, if transferred? Then you can transfer it back and the houses/items/whatever may be different... kinda sketchy

Logs given by players can be easily edited. And only owners can go back and read things.
