"Catastrophically high" - how many people do you know that have over $2m? The title clearly says "Stuff for the Rich" and this island-buying would be for only the rich. Plus, some city-building codes don't even apply on private islands.

I'm not saying this at all. More land isn't needed, but this would be a fun way for wealthy players to have fun and build geographical features that they otherwise can't build on normal plots. I agree that other islands aren't being used to their full potential, which is why the island owners...

The whole point of sundae's idea is to buy a small island, build on it, and never sell it for profit. Because there is a lack of islands, she feels like anyone that can afford one should be able to still build. And I personally feel like everyone should be able to build terrain, not just terrain...

I don't think you guys understand. sundae is suggesting that private islands, full of geographical features, go for sale, and not islands that can create more plots. There will be no plots on any of these small islands, so it should in no way "devalue" islands or other plots

Yes, you can transfer the house to a plot that you bought in the city. You have to pay for the transfer, which is usually no more than $15-20k, depending on the house size and the materials used.
